Historic Dozen Contest
Win great prizes and participate in history. The West Calaveras area is an area rich in history. A wealth of gold rush history, loads of railroad history, and of course Native American history. Much of this history has gone unnoticed even though it's all around the area.
The Historic Dozen contest strives to change that by introducing the history of the area using modern means. A social media based contest designed to spread awareness of our rich history.
Numerous local and internet businesses are participating by donating prizes and helping spread the word. Prizes can be donated through the entire run of the contest so it's a good idea to book mark the prizes pages and keep checking back.
The contest is actually made up of several contests and each is open to different participants.
